CONTACT - BACKGROUND

Dr. Michael Czarnota is the Official Neuropsychology Consultant for both the Ontario Hockey League and the Western Hockey League, as well as for several amateur and professional hockey organizations, high schools and universities, including Northern Michigan University. He has been using ImPACT since its inception and has presented at several international conferences on concussion. Sports-related concussions have been a growing part of his practice since 1999.


In addition to his sports consulting duties he also has a private practice in suburban Detroit where he provides evaluation and treatment services to several brain injury, stroke, and orthopedic rehabilitation facilities. Dr. Czarnota earned his doctoral degree from Wayne State University and underwent his pre- and post-doctoral training at Henry Ford Hospital and the University of Michigan Medical Center, respectively.
